Oral Surgery in Nashua, NH

Some dental concerns require more than routine treatment. At Center for Dental Excellence, we provide select oral surgical procedures as part of our comprehensive approach to dental care.

From tooth extractions and frenectomies to bone grafting and simple dental implant placement, we combine careful treatment planning, advanced technology, and personalized care to make your surgical experience as comfortable and straightforward as possible.

Our in-house surgical treatments at Center for Dental Excellence include:

Frenectomy

A frenectomy removes or modifies a small fold of tissue called a frenum. When a frenum restricts normal movement of the lips or tongue, or contributes to dental health and development concerns, a frenectomy may be recommended as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Tooth Extractions

When a tooth cannot be predictably restored, or removal is otherwise recommended, an extraction may be the best option for your oral health. We carefully evaluate the tooth and surrounding structures before recommending removal and will discuss options for replacing the tooth when appropriate.

Bone Grafting

Adequate jawbone volume is important when planning certain dental implant treatments. Bone grafting can help rebuild or preserve areas of the jaw where bone has been lost, creating a more suitable foundation for future treatment when needed.

Simple Dental Implant Placement

Dental implants can provide a stable way to replace missing teeth. For appropriate cases, we perform simple dental implant placement in our office, using digital imaging and treatment planning to evaluate the anatomy and plan the procedure.

Advanced Technology for Surgical Planning

Digital technology plays an important role in our approach to surgical care. CBCT imaging provides detailed 3D information about your teeth, jaw, and surrounding anatomy, helping us evaluate treatment needs and plan procedures with greater precision.

By combining technology with comprehensive treatment planning, we can better understand your individual needs before treatment begins.

Comfort-Focused Care

We understand that the idea of dental surgery can cause anxiety. Our team takes the time to explain your procedure, answer your questions, and make sure you understand what to expect.

For patients who experience dental anxiety, oral conscious sedation may be available when appropriate. We will discuss your options and determine whether sedation is suitable for your procedure and oral health needs.

Comprehensive Care From Start to Finish

Because surgical treatment is often connected to other aspects of your dental health, we consider how your procedure fits into your overall treatment plan. Whether you need an extraction before restorative treatment, bone grafting before an implant, or implant placement as part of a larger plan to replace missing teeth, we look at the bigger picture.
